SHIPPING & RETURN Policies and Artwork/Beadwork Care
SHIPPING POLICY
All orders will be shipped within 1-5 business days unless otherwise stated.
If you place an order with an incomplete address (ex. missing an apartment number or postal code etc.) and the item gets returned to Crafted by Ziibikwe, the customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs to resend the package. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK your information at checkout before submitting your order. If you notice a mistake when you receive the order confirmation email, please notify Crafted by Ziibikwe immediately.
Shipping in Canada
Letter mail shipping in Canada DOES NOT have liability coverage. Crafted by Ziibikwe is not liable for lost shipments and CANNOT provide a refund if the postal service loses the package.
FLAT RATE BOX Tracked: Please note that items may move during transport in a large box, CRAFTEDBYZIIBIKWE is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any damage that may occur from postal services.
Tracked shipping in Canada comes with a liability coverage of $100 CAD. If your tracked package is lost, Crafted by Ziibikwe can provide you with a $100 CAD refund.
Shipping to the USA
Due to customs requirements items shipped to the United States are only available with tracked shipping
and includes liability coverage up to $100 CAD. If your parcel goes missing with this shipping option and your order is worth more than $100, a refund can only be issued for the liability coverage amount of $100 CAD.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Due to hygienic reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on beadwork/ sewing/ art orders.
If your beadwork becomes damaged over time, send an email with photos and the damage description to CraftedbyZiibikwe@gmail.com. We can offer a *free simple repair*, buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
If the beadwork/art becomes extensively damaged, that falls outside of the scope of a simple repair, and cannot be offered for free. CraftedbyZiibikwe will do our best to work with you and retains the sole decision to determine whether an item is eligible for a *free simple repair* or how much an extensive repair would cost. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs when it comes to repairs.
Please be patient when waiting on a repair.
My beadwork should always be treated with the utmost respect. Beadwork that contains traditional medicines should NEVER be worn when drinking/ using drugs or while under the influence of alcohol or any other substances. If you purchase my beadwork you must respect and follow this traditional protocol.
To protect the integrity of the beadwork/artwork, please refrain from getting it wet! Do not wear earrings/ beadwork while showering, washing your face, outside during heavy rain or snowfall or anywhere where they may get wet. Water may cause damage to the artwork as well as to the integrity of the thread, glue, traditional medicines or animal products included in the piece.
